I have literally no idea what you're talking about. You said "keep telling me the premise" and I made it clear that I'm not telling you about it, I'm telling Ped, who I believe has not yet seen it. If she wishes to try it, I'm encouraging her by advising her what it's built around. What about that is so hard to understand? She started the topic by mentioning HoC, you said you don't like it, I'm talking to her reagrdless of what you think of the show, so why you still think my comments are aimed at you, when I've told you twice they're not, I'm at a loss to understand.

There's the second explanation, a couple more now.

Oh you thought I was replying to your posts? I was posting a series of non sequiturs. Just because I quote your post doesn't mean I'm responding to it, don't be so self centered. Those comments were for me only.

Yeah, on the topic, not a fan of breaking the 4th wall, despite my love of meta-writing.

Ah. Well in that case then, no, you probably won't enjoy it. Richardson does a lot of this.

Anyone seen this? I'd be interested but not if it's just True Blood v 2.0....

I have a few episodes on my dvr but haven't watched it yet. I doubt it's True Blood v 2.0. They wouldn't allow that on network tv, it would have to be on a cable network.

If it's in the same vein as True Blood though I might just end up deleting the episodes. I will give it a slight chance first though.

Superheroes Decoded. Just started today on History. Really excellent, gives some great insight into the creation behind the likes of Superman, Batman, Spidey and Wonder Woman, including the shocking news that Superman creators were both on the poverty line when the original Superman movie was released!

Also enjoying Robert Redford's The West. Up to episode four now I think.

And Bill Finger, co-creator of Batman, had to wait decades just to get his name next to glory hound Bob Kane cause **** the world. And Jack Kirby's massive contribution to the creation of Spider-Man get's an "I'm willing to say that he co-created Spider-Man" from Stan Lee. Comic creators have been getting the absolute shaft for decades. Will have to watch that.

Watched Hated in the Nation again lst night. It gets creepier with each successive viewing. Garrett Scholes is easily one of the most evil bad guys ever.

I mean 387,039 murders!!!

You'll love it. I also watched a while ago The Story of 2000AD, in which artists revealed that they were required, in order to get paid, to give up all rights and copyrights to their creations in order to get a ****ing paycheque! Unbelievable. Well worth watching.

Started the US House of Cards last night; completely hooked now. Got a lot of parallels to the UK version but they've managed to make it interesting enough not to be just a copy. Spacey is impressing me, though I have to say Kate Mara, despite being a babe, is not pushing any acting or character buttons for me at the moment. Something of a two-dimensional character so far. Robin Wright as his wife is far better; cold and evil with a winning smile.
