Penny Dreadful will have to fill the Carnivale-shaped void for now, then.

Carnivale was fantastic. Another new one i've been enjoying is The Young Pope on HBO. Jude Law is great in the role and really has this subdued evil-ness dripping from his pores. Diane Keaton is riveting also.

Watched San Junipero for the 4th time last night. Between books, movies, and television I've probably experienced hundreds of love stories of every size, shape, and variety.

This is hands down my favorite love story ever. Each time I watch it it hits me harder. I keep picking up on small minor stuff that I'd missed previously.

And the acting is so off the charts.

Spoiler for Spoiler:
On her first "visit" to San Junipero, Yorkie finds herself standing in front of a vidio game. She hesitantly reaches into her pocket. The expression on her face goes from "I wonder if I have a coin" to "Of course I have a coin" in the span of like a second. So subtle. The entire episode is filled with stuff like that.

I'd probably say the same tbh.

San Junipero was flawless.

"Hello, stupid." :,)

It's the best experience I've ever watched.

I find it more fulfilling to have experiences of my own rather than watching them.

The Following did it better.

I'm so annoyed they cancelled The Following. Bastards. I was looking forward to Bacon taking down that whole "murder club" thing that was going on. ****ing network ****.

I watched one episode of TYP, wanted to like it, hated it. Law was totally disengaging as the young pope, a completely unsympathetic character (at least to me) and I really couldn't see where it was going, even given the pilot episode seemed to be two or three hours long (or maybe it just seemed like that). After checking out episode one, I deleted all the others I had built up. Just not for me.

New series beginning this week or next, and which I'm looking forward to: 24: Legacy/Legion/Madam Secretary season 3/ Alan Partridge's Mid Morning Matters season 2/ Billions season 2

I mean. Sure. Though I don't see how that's relevant when talking about a TV show.

That episode makes people faint and forces them to experience their viewing experience in the 3rd person.

Realistic vs. entertaining though. The Following was pure entertainment. The Path made me fall asleep numerous times. I might give it another go but it was rough to get through.

Yeah Fox does it again. I hate getting attached to shows on that network because they don't have a long shelf life.

I'm watching 24 Legacy and Legion. I might go back and look at the first season of Billions. I didn't give that show much of a chance.
