Oh, anyone but Dean! (And Dean, Logan and Rory are all serial cheaters) I feel Jess would challenge her the most though obviously I'd prefer her to be with Paris, because no one else loves her with quite the same frightening intensity. But what Rory needs is to be alone for once (as she seems to kind of build her identity around her boyfriends).

Fair enough. You guys make good points about Jess that I hadn't considered. I do have a soft spot for his character in some cases, but the fact that he basically steals Rory from Dean with his charm is what puts a bad taste in my mouth. Otherwise he's a pretty good character.

I love Logan though. He's probably my favorite out of them all.

Don't even get me started on the love between Luke and Lorelai. I love that whole build up.

I feel Jess would at least inspire her creatively a little, and help bring her out of her self-absorbed bubble.

Logan has been pretty consistently sweet and harmless; he would be an acceptable choice for her. (But now there's that whole mess from the last season.) Apparently a lot of fans compare Rory & Logan to Lorelai and Luke, but I think they're far more similar to Emily and Richard.

Luke! I love Luke. I hope he gets more plot lines this season.

Is there a new season being produced?

I've heard slight rumors but I would imagine with the ending of the new season, they'd want to make another. I really hope they do.

Ok ya'll, tell why I should delve into this Gilmore Girls thing.

It's good to know your enemy.

It's got everything. Drama. Romance. A best friendship between a mother and daughter. There's just something special about it that I clinged to. It's tough to say whether you'll like or hate it. Just give it a chance.

This and it just has an air to it. It's just cozy, and the depiction of just small town teenage drama and slice of life is just great.

This is actually the perfect description of it. It's just something really peaceful to watch while watching everything unfold. It's also got really well thought out character progression. You come to really love each and every character you meet. It almost makes it feel like every character is a lead character. Plus, the writing is stellar.

I'm happy to see you like this show Trist. I don't think I knew that. But I love it.
