I feel like you should check it out because it does stand on it's own imo. I think really with the music you hear it adds to the atomsphere of the story. The ending for the American one is different.

Anyone here watching The Killing (AMC)? It's really good, only a few episodes in and I'm addicted.

Remakes are OK sometimes. I would probably be the happiest person in the world if someone remade Twin Peaks and finished the show (or at least if someone made a final season with the original cast). However, I don't see the need for the remake of Being Erica. Or Coupling. Or Death At A funeral. I mean, if a movie or a TV show is filmed in English, why the need for a remake that is also in English?

I haven't brought myself to watch the remake of Death at a Funeral yet. It really does look like I would be so disappointed in it.

Avoid it!

It's one of those movies where they have too many funny people in it and it ends up being unfunny.

Similar to Grown Ups

Probably more drama in Twin Peaks than in some of his movies, but I will enjoy it.

Was the ending good? NO DON'T TELL ME!!! I saw every episode of the American version and loved it, but I missed the very last episode! Now I have to go find that show and the original series.

What about Freaks and Geeks? Seeing as how all the original cast members are old now, a remake would be the only way to restart it.

I've been watching World Strictest Parents and Britain's Fattest Family. Rubbish but brain easing rubbish.

You'll be surprised especially if you saw the UK one and think you know how it ends.
