What the ****? The show me and my friend brainstormed was funnier than that ****. I could be rich off my unfiltered idiot thoughts easily.

I think half the humor arises from trying to figure out if Karl is playing the idiot, if he's an idiot savant, or if he's just plain stupid.

I think it's also that Karl has this odd ability to say the absolute perfect dumb thing at the absolute perfect moment, and this bizarre comedic timing just hits Ricky over the head constantly and he just can't deal with it and ends up falling out of his chair laughing.

I also think it's funny that they hang out and talk outside of work. I don't know if it's the healthiest friendship in the world, but they do genuinely seem to be some sort of friends.

It's probably the healthiest friendship because it shows that they're comfortable enough with the knowledge that they're all friends that they can slag each other off so mercilessly and know that it's all for laughs. I do like it when Ricky and Steve go off of their little bits though, it shows a good understanding of improv which is hard at the best of times.

You guys might wanna check out Idiot Abroad, which is pretty much a Karl solo show.

You probably did, but I backed you up.

I'm glad Jack and Chloe are gone. I'm more interested in it now that there is a whole new cast. I barely watched the little return thing they had like a year or two ago.
Yeah, I don't know. 24 without Jack is gonna be weird. Not so bothered about Chloe, but no Jack? That's going to take some getting used to.

I don't remember anyone mentioning it actually. I started watching it because I saw it on Netflix and it looked interesting.

We did; it kicked off a whole AJ Cook v Paget Brewster thing. Anyway, glad you're enjoying it. There are some amazing episodes - well, you've got what, ten seasons or more to watch yet? Wish I was in your position. I used to see the ads for this and think yeah, sure, then one day I watched it and was instantly hooked.

So far, from season 1, my favorite episode would have to be where the crazy intellectual holds the train hostage. The first season in general has been really good, but that one had me on the edge of my seat. As did many other episodes.

I don't even like cop shows, but I still dig Criminal Minds. Better than average cast and serial killer stories are vastly more interesting than 90% of other cases by definition.

That's pretty much why I like it for the most part. The serial killer stories and the psychological side of it is incredibly well done.

And Paget Brewster is a ****ing fox.
