Why General Hospital Is Metal as ****

Rory has a friend with a strictly religious Korean mom too who hides all her CDs under her floorboards too who namedrops an indie group every 5 seconds. She has Rancid and Superchunk posters. The first episode has music by the La's, Sam Phillips, and Yo La Tengo.

It digs quite into indie territory and love for quaint small town life and I loved it more for that than the girly drama stuff (though I craved that too).

Imagine it as a tamer Freaks and Geeks.

Yeah, I actually made it all the way through Gossip Girl but Gilmore Girls is in no way as entertaining.
