I just started that show a couple nights ago. I'm loving it so far. it's like all of my favorite sci-fi movies and TV shows rolled in one.

You know, I heard people comparing it to Speilberg, X-Files, and The Twilight Zone. It feels like all three, along with a little influence from stuff like Alien, Poltergeist, and I was even reminded of Akira.

Binged the first 5 episodes of The Night Of. I'm really liking it so far.

So the first episode of Stranger Things is a pretty good representation of the series so far, right? Wasn't huge on it and there are other ways to spend my time.

I hear that episode 4 and on it gets extremely better.

I saw it last night and thought the exact same thing.

Stranger things just keeps building and building as the season goes on. Stick with it.

Binged through the first 3 episodes of Bosch last night. Really like it so far.

Always been a fan of Titus Welliver from his work in Ben Affleck's movies.

I recently started Gurren Lagaan. It's pretty cool. It's a little stereotypical of a mecha anime, but it's got character and funny dialogue.

I googled Gurren Lagaan and some of the pics that came up remind me of the drawing style in Dead Leaves. Don't know if the actual show has a high contrast, very shaded look like that, but that would be cool.

I watch the occasional anime too, but it's pretty random what I bump into. Currently watching Birdy the Mighty: Decode.
... Not really a fantastic show. It's pretty silly, but mildly amusing and impressively animated in some of the action scenes.
