Binged through all 10 episodes of Preacher yesterday. Brilliant television!!!! Outstanding writing, acting, cinematography, and overall story-telling.

The direct nod to Breaking Bad with DeBlanc and Fiore had me busting up like a loon.

Can't wait to where the show goes next.

Spoiler for Spoiler:
The bit with The Saint of Killers re-living what happened over and over and over again was a bit confusing until DeBlanc and Fiore show up and you realize he's been existing in his own personal hell.

Is "Animal Kingdom" any good, or does it have one of those inter-generational incestuous type storylines?

All I heard was incest.

Hell on Wheels

My dad sings the praises of this show, so I've seen the first two episodes so far. The thing is that it's just a collection of cliches of every modern conception of the post American civil war reconstruction era. So far it's just way too predictable and I know exactly what an actor is going to do just by looking at them.

Does anyone know if it gets better or should I stop wasting my time?

The show is called "Hell on Wheels", you should've known it was going to be cliche from the moment you knew the name of it.

The title is a little less on the nose than Breaking Bad imo.

Finished Preacher. Absolutely loved it. ****. Completely blew away my expectations. I was confused at first with how different it was to the comic and now I realize it was a prequel. Can't wait for S2 now.
