Last nights finale of Game of Thrones was one of the best episodes of television I've ever seen. I know we got a fantastic one last week and the battle of the bastards was a sight to behold but the overall direction, score, acting, cinematography, and structure of the finale was just incredible. The first 20 minutes, the trial, was some of the best television I've ever watched. The music was just perfect. The tension was perfect. The acting from Liam Cunningham. The last shot of Tommen. The way they revealed R+L=J.
I feel bad for people who don't watch this show. It really is a masterpiece of television regardless of whether you like the subject content or not. |

The Expanse
The Expanse (TV Series 2015 so.. am I dumb or is this really good ? I mean, really good tv and a good science fiction show ? Not much cheese, a ton of good ideas, well played characters, great approach to future tech.. I saw the whole 1st season, 10 episodes, in 2 days. It's been a while since a tv show did that to me. I wanted to post the trailer but honestly, all trailers I saw so far are crap and don't convey the atmosphere and make it look like it's almost as bad as Farscape :P Watch the pilot, see for yourself. |
