New episode of Orphan Black last night. Show continues to be the best thing on TV.

Twin Peaks!

Oh wait, I forgot about Mark Frost and all the guest directors. Nevermind.

i thought the lucifer tv series was decent for the most part, but it was like a completely different story than the comics. for a lot of the episodes, i just wasn't involved in them 'til the end, which was usually a cliffhanger for the next episode. i'll probably end up watching the second season, but going into it

Spoiler for s1 finale:
i don't care much about the idea of lucifer's mother

neither are terrible by any means. they're just lackluster to me because i expected more from them considering the source material. with preacher on amc, i don't think it'll be too restricted, and the plot is already straying from the comics, but the first episode was fun
I swore I responded to this post but yeah, Constantine turned into like a Supernatural knock-off but I was still into it because I loved the early seasons of Supernatural.

The Lucifer show was fun until I found out it was going to be a case of the week type of police procedural. You have all those powers and that's what you choose to do with them. Seems pretty lame. I still followed it to the end of the season where it began to pick up.

I don't mind tv shows straying from their source material. They are operating in two different mediums so they need room to stretch and express themselves. I was never the type of fan to hate a movie because it wasn't like the book or they left things out that were in the book. OF COURSE they left things out that were in the book. They would end up with a five hour movie if that was the case.

Are we still talking about how pointless region locks are ? I'm confused

Also, I'm looking forward to getting my brain fu*ked by Twin Peaks again. I just hope bob is not as scary as he was when I was a kid, watching it for the 1st time

Finally decided to watch the Sopranos. Midway through season one and really digging it.

I gave up on that series part way through season 3. I think the only reason season 1 was good was probably because it was ripoff of Watchmen. After that the writers were forced to carry their own weight, and they just couldn't.

Spoiler for Heroes:
I'l never forget how Mohinder was crawling around a room shirtless, crawling up the walls and experiencing super agility and superstrength, JUST LIKE IN THE FLY. Later in the series, he starting wrapping some freaky cocoon around himself. Totally ripping off The Fly.
