The Man in the High Castle
Such a cool premise for a show. It's based in the year 1962 and on the fact that Japan and Germany won WWII. Japan occupies the west coast and Germany the east. The only part left unclaimed is most of the Rockies. Of course there's a small US resistance, and they are in the possession of some old movie reels that show all of the real coverage of the US's victory. Both Germany and Japan badly want the tapes destroyed. The pace is a bit too slow at times but definitely have to see how it's all going to play out. It's nice to see Rufus Sewell (from Dark City) again though.

Final scene of the final episode of Man in the High Castle was a total trip. Really looking forward to season two now.
On to The Americans. Watched the pilot and 2nd episodes last night. Another very cool premise. Set in 1982 so the soundtrack is music from that era. So far they are nailing the vibe of the scenes with the perfect songs. Oh, and Kerri Russell is hotter than hell in the show.

i enjoyed it. i wouldn't say the comic was much better based off of one episode of the show, but we'll see. i think i'll enjoy this more than other vertigo comics that transitioned to tv like constantine and lucifer, since both were pretty lackluster

Very pleasantly surprised by Preacher. Casting seems to be spot on, I especially liked Joseph Gilgun as Cassidy - his performance in Lockout, an otherwise extremely dumb movie, was brilliant and I can't wait to see where he goes with this character.
I just hope AMC won't wuss out and tone the original material down too much - the comic was pretty blasphemous and disgusting at times, but that was apart of the world and it made sense. Spoiler for Spoiler:
