Never heard of that show, I had to look it up. I'm surprised an American version hasn't been made yet. A lot of our reality shows seemed to be made from European shows.

it's originally French

Watching season 1 of Arrested Developement. I love it.

Recorded version of Waterloo Road from last night, got to say the dubbing/miming of the character's voices was terrible, they were a few seconds out at least. It was really distracting and took away any enjoyment the episode might have had for me!

But he's so cardboard. :\ He's annoying. But I can see how if you were watching it for the cheese factor it might be worth it. lol

My sister HATES Horatio, lol!! It seems he generates strong feelings from people one way or the other. He never bothered me. His remarks always amused me, lol.

I have seen them all before but going back through each season ATM as I have the boxset of all 5 seasons. Brilliant as ever.

Seen the first 3 seasons on cable and then it was pulled on cable due to a dispute with sky (this was a few years back) and by the time it was back on it was into season 5 so I obviously couldn't just dip back into at this time.

Over the past few months I have managed to buy the first five seasons and started S4 tonight with 4 episodes after piledriving my way through the first 3 seasons.

The most confusing season thus far but still utterly watchable although I do have a question to ask since the very first season.

If you were stranded somewhere how could you deduce that it is an island if you barely explore the place and only discover places when the plot needs it? Surely if you were stranded on a beach, a few of you would venture inland to see exactly where they were?

No one had actually reached the other side of the island to support the theory that it is an island and not a land mass.

Series 2 of The Wire was criminally underrated imo. I think a big problem was that the team from the first series was split for a large part, and you miss the chemistry they had built up. But in hindsight, and on repeat viewings, its so much better than it ever was on the first watch. Frank Sobotka was a great character.

I'm currently about to start series 4 of The Sopranos, and am halfway through series 1 of The Shield. The Shield has underwhelmed me so far tbh, Vic Mackey just seems to be a meathead who goes around doing what he wants, and they have tried to use his son to make him seem more likeable... but I havent really found myself connecting with any characters yet. I'll keep watching it, I like seeing how they get from point A to point B, I just dont really care for the characters along the way thus far lol

I think they were too far out over the Pacific to have crashed on any of the continents. So for them it would pretty much be a given that they're on an island.

but surely they would explore a little to have some idea of their predicament? After weeks of non rescue I would certainly plot a straight line of exploring to see where you are and at least get a lay of the land?
