This season of Hannibal has been one hot mess. It started out as some kind of avant-garde art piece, with some cannibalism sprinkled in. An obvious departure of style from the first two seasons. But all of a sudden it's reverted back to it's usual way of putting together episodes.

I have enjoyed it, but man, it's just pretty confusing how they changed direction. Maybe they expected a 4th season and just rushed to the final part of the story?

Man, as much as I like that show, it's always been a trainwreck of wannabe pretentious goofiness.

What? Why didn't anybody tell me about this show?

True Detective Season 2 Finale.

I liked it. A lot. The last episode and this one truly saved this season. There was no way that anything that they did was going to come anywhere close to season one. Having 4 leads was their first mistake this season and then the ridiculously convoluted storyline and huge batch of secondary characters added insult to injury, but for the final two episodes they cut right to the bone. We all knew exactly who the good guys and bad guys were and what the important basics of the story was.

Safe to say that if season one never existed I think that this season would have been given a lot more praise. Ya, the first 6 episodes were tough to wade through but 7 and 8 brought it all into focus.

Biggest regret for me?

Spoiler for Spoiler:
Burris didn't take a shotgun blast to the face during the final standoff with Ray. Really hated that ****er.

I realize this is not exactly on topic, but hey.
Deadwood. Is. Coming. Back.
Maybe.

Hannibal is over after this season.Fyi.There are only 3 books. True Dick. Lost my attention this year. Mr.Robot is the only decent show on right now.

I agree with all of this. It's getting a lot of hate but I think in the end it came out okay. Once I found out what was going on it became a lot more interesting. I think this season might of worked better with a couple more episodes. Frank and Ray were the definite standouts for me.

Cos Collin Ferrell was a bad person in that show as was Vince Vaughn. So do we know what happened with the man in the bird hat?

Goofle 08-13-2015 07:28 AM

The last episode of TD was ****.

Re: Bird hat guy

He was the dude wearing the hoodie in the station listening in on the police chief and Ray negotiating. He then freaked out and started going at the chief with a knife but was shot and killed by Burris.
