She's great

She doesn't give the most varied performance or anything (though she definitely holds her own in dramatic scenes) but she has a subtle way about her. Rather casual and stoic.

Peaky Blinders

On episode three right now and I am already hooked. Great cast and Cillian Murphy is excellent.

Started watching the fourth season of Portlandia now that it's on Netflix (hey, let's see who can guess where I watch most of my television/films) and I think it's their best yet. They quit over-doing it on the sound effects this season, which is something that I didn't like about the second and third season. They're moving on from the sketches that were starting to get tired too.

agreed. Carrie Brownstein is too damn lovable. I loved it when the mayor tries to save portland by buying a 3d printer lol

So i'm watching the 2 most recent seasons of Family Guy, which are on Netflix, and I really don't know why people said they were terrible. A lot of the jokes and episodes from the newer seasons are way funnier than the previous seasons. Maybe I just have a terrible sense of humor, but i'm really enjoying them.

I've been DVR'ing EastEnders, which is broadcast on WLIW public tv here on Wednesday nights. Can't believe I've become completely hooked on this show! WLIW is currently broadcasting episodes from 2005, though, so I've caught up watching various episodes on YouTube through the present day. My cousins in Hythe, England are "chuffed" (as they say) that I can communicate "knowledgeably" (so to speak) about the show now.

Still catching up on Justified and, my god, this show just gets better and better. Boyd Crowder is one of my favourite characters ever. Such a bad ass. Such a worm. Such a sneaky and clever little fuck. Awesome show.

I have heard a lot of great things about this and I'm only 5 episodes in and it is already living up to my expectations. It is one of the most interesting kids shows I have ever seen, with a lot of influences from a White Wolf game called Exalted. I've never been a big fan of anime, and while this is similar, it avoids a lot of the tropes, and I think that just has to do with the fact that it's a western designed show. I really enjoy the characters, their struggles, and the morals that the show ends on, they're not shoehorned in and they are all things that kids, teens, and adults can relate to.

Would highly recommend.

I'm in the middle of watching two shows right now, and 2 more planned for when I finish these. Currently watching:

The 100
Z Nation

Z nation starts off pretty bad but it's getting progressively better. Really enjoying it as of late. Just check IMDB ratings and you can see the steady climb in ratings. Same with The 100.

The two shows I plan on checking out after these (both of them are new) are Helix and The Strain. Two more new shows.
