You must watch them. If you've never seen Trailer Park Boys, it's a must. Bojack Horseman is amazing as well. It took a little bit for it to sink in for me, but it's so well done.

Bojack just doesn't do it for me. I've tried up to about four episodes in. Then again Archer was never a big one for me either. Though I did love Bob's Burgers.

I didn't care much for archer either, but i do like Bojack. Occasionally the structure feels a little too reminiscent of family guy, and some jokes just plain aren't that funny. Other times the episode are fantastic, and mesh a bunch of themes together in a surprisingly poignant way for such a crude show.

Also finished the new trailer park boys which was good, but not as good as prior seasons. It's missing some of the low-fi visual aesthetic of appearing as though it was broadcasting on a public Canadian network. The sharper image quality is kind-off at odds with the show. Otherwise it's impossible not to love.

Trailer Park Boys is also missing Clattenburg, the creator, if I'm not mistaken.

They do a good job riffing off of established characters, but I don't know how well they are at creating them (ie: DAWN).

And the way they shoot it loses a lot of the mockumentary feel.

I agree but after what they did to Arrested Development I was quite surprised.

Yea, not really close to as good as the original run of Arrested Development.

I've noticed a lot of things that I miss about the previous seasons of TPB. It's still well done, but it lacks that "i picked up my moms camera to record this" feel. It just seems too crisp and well acted. Not that it wasn't well acted before, but you didn't see them as actors in previous seasons, you saw them as legitimate people living in a trailer park.

So I just finished Hannibal season 1.

Honestly, meh. It's supercheese. BUT. Will Graham's character, while probably not even remotely realistic and morely the product of Hollywood's conveniently revisioned copy of the DSM, is pretty gnar. And Hannibal? The actor, his name I forget, totally nails. Hopefully the second season cuts back on the Robert Downey Jr era Sherlock Holmes-esque gobbledygook and gets more into those two characters because goddamn are all the other ones boring as fvck or are they all boring as fvcking fvck.
