Did anyone watch all of S4 of The Boondocks?
Thoughts?

Started Rick and Morty recently, it's utterly fantastic. Kind of a more vulgar version of Futurama that gets extremely trippy every episode. It's all on Youtube so anyone that hasn't seen it doesn't have an excuse!

Really disappointing ending to one of the funniest and most insightful cartoons ever. Some episode premises seemed like they could have been entertaining if handled properly (ie by mcgruder), but overall the jokes weren't funny and the social commentary fell short.

Haven't watched the last episode yet, but overall I would say it didn't live up to the first three seasons. I thought there were still some really good ones, namely the parodies, but the others only had a couple of good moments. I don't think MacGruder's absence was what caused the fourth season to suffer, because he worked on the second episode ("Good Times") and I thought it was one of the low points of the season.
Maybe the concept is getting tired or something along those lines.

Also...according to this article McGruder got fired from the Boondocks. Crazy.
It also makes mention of a potential season 5 due to the high viewership of the first episode (which aired the day after 4/20, heh. Get it? High viewership? Damn right you do). I wouldn't get my hopes up because the consensus seems to be that the show's gone downhill so I doubt the other episodes got as many views.

If the social commentary type stuff is gone. I don't know if I even want to watch this last season. It seems like a shell of its former self.
