Watching the pilot of that convinced me to watch the original.
They managed to make these awesome topics quite boring. You guys see the latest Rick & Morty? This show is amazing (Rixty Minutes).

You don't feel like Niel does Carl justice?
Thanks for that link btw. I saw the first episode but missed the second one. Recorded it but low DVR space ended up getting recorded over with Walking Dead I believe.

Familiarity will usually win out with me anyway unless something *clicks* with the new and improved version of anything. Besides, the best part about watching Carl, was listening to his pronunciation of the English language.

I'm digging Cosmos. The sheer fact that he's willing to say that evolution is a fact on network television makes me love Tyson. I seem to remember a subtle dig about creationism at some point too. Made my atheist tear ducts operate.

Yes, but it's sad how controversial a thing to say that's becoming in public. As in pop culture public. It's nice to see evolution being treated as fact rather than pretending there's more controversy than there actually is just to pacify the crackpots and the ignorant. So many legitimate documentaries do that with all kinds of topics that touch in any way on religion. As if saying facts is somehow wrong if it might challenge some religious nut's silly views.

My mate has been telling me to watch this for ages. I finally got round to it and I'm enjoying it a lot. I had seen a couple of films with Danny McBride in over the years but not really anything I remembered him in, or even remembered the film all that well. Nothing I particularly enjoyed. Then I watched Pineapple Express and This is the End and I enjoyed those. I feel I know him much better after this though. This seems to be his stage. |

You can do like I'm doing and watch two episodes a night and you'll be done in time for the season premiere that's coming up.
