I really think they crammed too much into it and maybe I'm a bit used to have cliffhanger type endings to seasons but it felt a bit rushed.

Yeah, the last scene in the wheelchair with them looking at the stars was nice.

Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle - Series 3

This man is my man. I absolutely love everything he has done from Fist of Fun, This Morning With Richard Not Judy all the way through to Carpet Remnant World. And the new series is fantastic.

I checked out Cosmos the other night.

COSMOS: A Spacetime Odyssey

I understand how it's targeted for children (even the time slot is set for a 'before bedtime' type of thing. *shrug* It's that Dad instinct in me that tells me this), and maybe once in a while they'll toss out a nugget for the adults, but putting aside the 'meh' factor it really stuck with me and got me thinking about a few things that have been sitting in the corner of my brain for a while. Like the fact that trees/plants process sugars in the same manner as humans/animals. Interesting stuff.

Watching the pilot of that convinced me to watch the original.

They managed to make these awesome topics quite boring.

You guys see the latest Rick & Morty? This show is amazing (Rixty Minutes).

You don't feel like Niel does Carl justice?

Thanks for that link btw. I saw the first episode but missed the second one. Recorded it but low DVR space ended up getting recorded over with Walking Dead I believe.

He hasn't grown on me yet, but give it time. It's only been 2 episodes.

Familiarity will usually win out with me anyway unless something *clicks* with the new and improved version of anything.

Besides, the best part about watching Carl, was listening to his pronunciation of the English language.

I'm digging Cosmos. The sheer fact that he's willing to say that evolution is a fact on network television makes me love Tyson. I seem to remember a subtle dig about creationism at some point too. Made my atheist tear ducts operate.

That's a given if you're a fan of this version or the original.
