I didnt like the Arrow pilot at all. it sucked. I kept watching though and I really got into it. I'm a handful of episodes into season two and still enjoying it a lot. However, I'm not exactly a superhero fan and I've never been into comic books, so how loyal it is to its source material means absolutely nothing to me.

I wasn't prepared for there being three fans of Arrow on this board.

I refuse to watch Arrow but I am all over the Agents of Shield show. I am not giving up on it yet. It is people like you guys that gave up on Firefly during it's original run then came back to suck its dick when it got canceled.

But Firefly had likable characters, a concept that Joss obviously cared about, and wasn't boring as ****. Agents of Shield is the opposite of all of these. I actually hope this show succeeds though, just so that Joss can get some TV capitol back and make something worthwhile.

I have heard that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D gets better as the series progresses, but I kind of watch shows about superheroes to see the actual superheroes. I am really excited for the Netflix originals about Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, and Daredevil though.

I watched the final season of the US Office this week. I know the last few seasons of the show kinda got panned but I liked it. It did kinda lose some of its focus once Steve Carell left but I dont think it was all that bad. Overall a very different spin on the original show, given its own identity, and was a very good show in its own right. I thought the ending was a good one. So naturally I had to go back to the original one more time. The Office is a work of art. It has the most perfect ending to any show I've seen. |

So the last episode/latest series of Dexter was total shite. Rushed and looked as though they completely changed what the plot of the show was going to be half way through.

I've become pathetically hooked on the old 90's Batman cartoon. **** cartoons that was one of the best shows of all time. The tone, the atmosphere, the music, the voice acting, the art design, etc, etc, etc were all brilliant. That show had more thought and care put into it than any cartoon I've ever seen. As far as I'm concerned a good episode of Batman: The Animated Series could be more dramatically compelling than any Batman movie ever made.
