Underbelly is on in the States? Which sub-series are you watching?

I'm in Ireland, not the US.
Series 2, "The Golden Mile". I'm delighted: I thought it ended on season 1!

There's another one after The Golden Mile, Underbelly: Razor which is based on the most dominating criminalisation gangs (the "razor gangs") in 1927 - 1936, Darlinghurst. I'm pretty sure they were the first underground criminal gang acts in Australia. It's based on two queen leaders.

I think there are two more after that one.
Underbelly: Badness but I don't know the next one.

The Golden Mile is so familiar to me since Kings Cross hasn't changed much. I just came from living there actually.

Wow that's so cool. Is it really (was it really) like that? I can't believe how one hundred percent corrupt the cops were. EVERYONE had his or her hand in the till! You wouldn't want to be expecting them to help you would you, unless you had a pile of cash! Don't tell me, but I hope they all got jailed in the end. Terrible shower.

You bet ya, corrupt as heck. Bar/club owners still pay and bribe off police officers to keep quiet and not bother enforcing the bars. There's like hardly any cop cars or patrol in Kings Cross. Prostitutes and drugs everywhere. Gunshots sometimes. Seriously a blind man could tell it's obvious. It's a bit less intense though.

But anyway, I think The Golden Mile does a good job portraying that.

I started (and finished) Homeland Season 1 yesterday, and am going to watch the second tomorrow. In the meantime I have also been watching Breaking Bad, which I have just started, and, I must say, one of the greatest shows I've seen in recent memory.

I just downloaded both seasons of Mrs Brown's Boys. So deliciously funny.
