Treme is in my backlog. I'm basically waiting for Best Buy to do a massive sale on tv show sets and see if I can get a deal. Either that or see if I can watch it on HBO GO which I'm in the process of setting up.

I'm re-watching Community, and it's better than I remember; I really hope it's not awful this year.

Same thing happened to me. I mean, I loved it first time round personally, but it was even better revising it.

As far as current TV shows, I like Family Guy, Breaking Bad, Boss, Boardwalk Empire, Through the Wormhole, Pawn Stars, Criminal Minds, Two and a Half Men, Anger Management, 60 Minutes, Around the Horn, Pardon the Interruption, SportsCenter, Red Eye, The O'Reilly Factor, The Five, Saturday Night Live, Sons of Anarchy, etc..

I also love anything educational focusing on history, science or military.

Going through Deadwood. Up to S2. Really like the western historical culture, and the characters are well developed.

After this I really want to try The Wire. See what the positive ratings are about.

I've been assured that the more of The Wire you watch, the better and more addictive it becomes. I only managed to make it through the very first episode, which nearly sent me to sleep.

So I'm guessing it's an acquired taste?

It just seems to progress at a very, very slow pace. I guess if you keep watching and familiarise yourself with the story and the characters then it would make it easier. I didn't.
