It's an awesome and hilarious show that's primarily about Louis' actual life. If you enjoy Louis CK and mature and slightly disgusting, sad comedy... you must watch.

I love his stand up but I haven't found that show all that funny. It reminds me a lot of Curb Your Enthusiasm, which I also don't find particularly funny.

I've seen the first season of Louie and I liked it. I wasnt bowled over by it but it was good and I plan on starting on season 2 now it's been added to Netflix.

It reminds me a little of Curb Your Enthusiasm too, but the difference is that I think Curb is one of the finest sitcoms I've ever seen.

I've just started Scrubs. Dr. Cox is my personal hero. I aspire to be that sarcastic.

Enjoy it while it lasts. The last few seasons were pretty awful.

I used to adore that show though and the first 4 (5 at a push) seasons are fantastic still. It is no surprise to me at all that you would love Dr. Cox.

He's the baklava of sarcasm.

I think "baklava of sarcasm" is my new favorite phrase.

As someone recommended, "Revenge" has turned out to be one of my favourite shows. I can't get enough of it. Luckily our local channel is cool enough to screen 2 episodes a week, but still, have to let it build up then pig out.

Also tempted to go for season 7 of "Supernatural", which just started, but I have seasons 3-6 still to watch on the PC, so better not. It's a pain though, avoiding those spoilers-that-shouldn't-be-spoilers-if-you're-up-to-date!

Just caught an ep of "The IT crowd" and it wasn't terrible, so may give it a shot. Or not. Wish there was some "Apprentice" on somewhere: "The Angel" just doesn't cut it really...

Enjoying reruns of "Minder" on Irish TV late at night, but still so many shows recorded that I have to check out. Here's a list; anyone cares to comment on whether the show is good/bad/indifferent, fire away.

Alcatraz
Mad men (decided to try this out when they went back to the start, haven't watched an ep yet!)
Grimm
The Newsroom (I know I'll like this, it's Sorkin after all. Just haven't made time for it yet)
Unforgettable
Being human
Lost girl
The killing (saw season 1)
Teen Wolf
Sinbad
Fairly legal (season 2, enjoyed season 1)
The Borgias (ditto)

Coming late to the party for the Sopranos, though I think it's getting near the end now, sadly.

And the Wire? Enjoyed season 1 a whole lot, hated season 2 and lost interest (read, ran out of disk space to keep the recorded episodes) after that.

There are some great Dr. Cox moments from the early days.

"This is that beverage that I've been trying to describe to you and it turns out, and this is gonna sound weird, but the secret is that you grind it from beans...not crap."

"Hey! Have you been here the whole time?"
"No, I just came in through the couch door."

And these two:

Now I want to start Scrubs again.

Whatever happened to Zach Braff? I thought he was going to be consistently making good movies after I saw Garden State.
