Aside from them looking like sluts you'd kill for, I don't really see the resemblance. And I'd take Krysten Ritter over Rose most days of the week: she looks less annoyingly bitchy, has even better hair, a skin tone to match, and dose ****ing eyes.

I would just it to be known in my defense that I do not have a list of my top porn stars, let alone a full-blown top ten. Though if I did, it would have Julia Ann... and I can't really think of any porn stars who I keep up with to even a slight degree.

I think that counteracts the fact that I live with my mother, don't have a college degree, don't own a car, work at Burger King, and have over 15,000 posts on an internet forum. I'm officially a bigger catch than Chula.

At the very least, you'll never find any strange stains on our children's photos.

I actually didn't realize that Chula was talking about tv until you guys brought this up.

Do you seriously think that an avant-garde musician doesn't have a good enough imagination to visualize that **** in his head?

"Avant garde musician" does not equal "television set".

I guess it's a lot different when you save it for the real thing.

Frownland 05-13-2016 05:35 PM

There's a very easy answer to your question.

The Batlord 05-13-2016 05:37 PM

Too bad you're ignorant of it.

debaserr 05-13-2016 05:46 PM

Sick burn! Kappa

Can you guys bring this to PM's or a porn / sex / virgin / middle-school jokes thread?

I'm here for TV baby.

What did you guys think of the latest season of Better Call Saul?

Spoiler for spoilers through season 2 better call saul:
I thought the last episode of the season was one of the best episodes of TV I have ever seen.

The opening scene with the Mom's death was so realistic and revealing.

The ER scene with Chuck was suspenseful, and I wasn't sure if he could give himself a heart attack or something because I'm not a medical expert.

The sniping scene with Mike was just pure cinematic bliss for me, and who left the note? Nacho or Gus?

And to end it all with the recording, damn that's a long con for Chuck to play.

I had no memory of the show but when I googled it and saw pictures, yeah, I definitely remember seeing it as a kid now.

JGuy Grungeman 05-14-2016 02:43 PM

Martin Mystery was dumb fun, but also some really cool sci-fi mystery. It's like a kids' predecessor to X-Files. I'd love to read the Italian comics.

Either just finished or am about to start episode 5 of Jessica Jones, and it's ****ing awesome. I'm actually kind of glad that I haven't seen any of David Tenant's Dr. Who episodes, or it might make watching him as the Purple Man kind of weird.

@ Suzy - I don't know if you've seen the show, but so far Patsy Walker has been a prominent character. Just a heads up.

You're not going to believe how crazy it gets as it goes along. The last few episodes are completely off the charts.

You're already obsessed with superhero TV shows, so when are you gonna quit with the foreplay and start reading actual comics? I can hook you up with some good gateway ****, bro.

I totally endorse this. Just skip the post-John Byrne issues. They're not the same after that. If you want to know where the real inspiration for Deadpool came from, then...

Peaky Blinders has been great so far. Shame to have lost Tom Hardy (not sure if he's coming back) but going strong in his absence. And I love the new direction of the show, no idea what's coming next.

I wish it was subtitled. :D

Just finished episode 11 of Jessica Jones, and it's still getting awesomer (don't care if that's a word).

Spoiler for spoilers:
I'm loving Trish's character more and more. She fits right into the darker tone of the show, but she still manages to maintain a certain bubbly optimism and enthusiasm that just makes her delightful. And every time she gets in a fight I find myself going, "Yes, yes, kick is ****ing ass. Be god damn Hellcat."

Her fight with Simpson was epic, and she totally gave me a superheroine boner. I don't know exactly what they have planned for her, but she's clearly not going to remain in Jessica's shadow forever. Whether or not they decide to give her her own show, I have no doubt she's only going to become more awesome... unless they kill her by the end of the series, at which point I will picket Marvel's main headquarters: Disney World.

I'm also curious if this means that Marvel and Netflix are actually planning out a Marvel TV "Phase 2", that will build on this new universe once The Defenders mini-series is over. If so, I'd say this is probably our best chance at She-Hulk: she's a lawyer, so she's got a connection to Daredevil and Jessica Jones, she hires PIs, so that's another connection to Jessica Jones AND Hellcat, and I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to link her to Heroes for Hire. Though I don't exactly know how they would handle her appearance with a TV budget.

Even with movie money, they'd either have to just paint her green or use CGI, and both could very easily look hokey on a character who spends the majority of her time and dramatic moments while green. And I doubt a TV show would have the money to have a character CGI'd green for thirteen episodes. So either, they use body paint, or they keep Jen human for most of the series, and only have her Hulk out when necessary. I know they did that for her second solo series, but I wanna see her green as much as possible... for plot reasons... yeah...

And soon... Daredevil season 2. Life is good.

Spoiler for :):
Here's hoping she pops up in the Defenders series, and then turns into Hellcat and joins the team. After all, in the comics, she was a Defender for like a billion issues.

As for She Hulk, rather then introduce her as a recurring character, I think they're more likely to give her a brief appearance on Daredevil. It'd fit, since they could easily set up an episode where the two clash as lawyers on opposite sides of some issue, and it'd give them the chance to test out possible make-up/effects for her skin color before featuring her extensively on other shows in the future.

The Batlord 05-17-2016 12:00 AM

Episode 1 of Daredevil season 2 and Punisher like a mu****a!!! Well, it looks like Marvel's in the process of taking DC's TV crown to further humiliate them. They can do no wrong.

Chula Vista 05-17-2016 12:05 AM

Into the Red Dragon portion of the final season of Hannibal. So nice to see that they stayed true to Harris's novel on how Mason Verger met his demise.

Eels rule baby.

Chula Vista 05-18-2016 03:33 PM

Just finished up the show. Although slow at times throughout season three, the final scene was absolutely mind blowing. It's not very often that I'll be watching something and find myself saying out loud "NO WAY!"

Again, loved how they blended Red Dragon and Hannibal together and said **** it in regard to the novel's timelines.

Loved this show and plan on re-watching it somewhere down the road. Hard to believe this ever got on network TV considering how gory it was.
