I myself have just recently discovered how good The Office actually is after watching some of the latter seasons on DVD. Not to say the show will totally tank once Steve Carrell leaves, but I'm not sure what they're going to do without him... unless they replace his character with Dwight. He seems incompetent enough to fill Michael’s shoes.

I also have to watch the season 7 premiere of House before the second episode airs Monday night. |

I'm really looking forward to the inclusion of Ricky Gervais this season. This is something I have purposefully avoided reading up about because I dont want to know anything about it but I hope he is in it as David Brent. He has to be really. I was very surprised to get into this show. I thought it looked complete turd and the kind of thing I would avoid. However, i really like it. |

Same here! My housemate and I were in complete hysterics while watching it yesterday, I had tears in my eyes and a sore stomach from laughing at it so much - it was the bit where Marshall sings and records his "Night night" song for Lily when they are living apart. Good show.

I've seen most of it, but my housemates and I are systematically watching the whole thing from the very beginning 'cause we're lame like that. We're up to season 3 currently. I haven't seen the new season yet! Is it any good, has anyone watched it?

Thats the only way I watch any show, from the beginning and in order. I've started at the beginning of HIMYM a few times now, so if anyone wins any awards for being sad...
There's only been the one episode so far and I wont say anything about what it was about but it was good. No signs of a serious drop-off in quality yet anyway. |

Californication is my favourite thing on television right now, and after the end to season three I'm not going to be quite right until it's back on...
(Season three wasn't as strong as the first two, I thought, but still better than most television) I fell in TV Love with Community last year, and while the first episode for this season didn't wow me (although I friggin' loved 'OldWhiteManSays'), I am still hopeful. Weeds also has my attention again this year. I lost interest after the third season when everything went ridiculous but this season kind of feels like the first couple. Pretty much everything I watch lately is a half-hour long - I fear my attention span is not longer fit for anything bigger. |
