The reason is that Hollywood are unwilling to put their faith in relatively unknown film makers and writers. There is so much great cinema in Asia that Hollywood even tried to remake their films...and failed miserably.

The Departed was a good movie.

Anyway, the new Friday the 13th looks good. It's basic.

It's very bloated and amalgamates parts 2 and three. The original Infernal Affairs is tight and brilliantly executed.

I have yet to see Infernal Affairs. Despite that, I'm still gonna say Departed was a good movie.
