Our hopes and dreams have been shattered over and over again for the past 5 years. This announcement does seem to hold more weight though. It seems there was a sort of reunion in NY where it was announced, and then both Jason Bateman and Will Arnet tweeted about the new series and film. In the past theres been announcements about the film then the cast and crew will come out and deny it and say that it's a pack of lies. Hopefully this time it's legit, and if it is legit then hopefully it does go ahead as planned. |

Now that Ron Howard and his people have dropped the Dark Tower project, I feel like this announcement does really hold a lot of weight.
I'm pretty sure it's legitimate this time.

Didn't Family guy go through a similar thing and then it turned out the quality of the re-started show wasn't up the the original run? I'm basing this only on other people's opinions, I've never actually seen the whole series of FM.
Anyhow, I'm moderately hopeful, love the show. (:

No, it doesn't. It's not funny and it's formulaic and inane. Seth McFarlane uses it as a boring ass springboard for his banal opinions. And the cut scenes, really? **** this show.
I love AD though, **** yeah |

I love the Family Guy cut scenes. And yeah, it's formulaic but so is The Simpsons and thats been on for 23 seasons. Anyway, the first three seasons of Family Guy were of a higher standard but I don't feel it dropped off as much as other people seem to.
