[.REC] may have been the best scary movie I've ever seen, so I chose not to see Quarantine so it wouldn't be ruined.

I haven't seen the film yet, but this whole POV genre is starting to get really annoying. I remember when Cloverfield was released and nearly everyone in the area I lived were raving that it was the first POV movie to ever be released. How it was so original and hasn't been done before. Yet people tend to forget about Cannibal Holocaust (1979) one of the first POV movies to come out. The Blair Witch Project (1999). And Zero Day (2002). Along with much more other titles. The point is people are making these movies out to be better than they're supposed to be without any prior knowledge.

I <3 Jason Statham.

The Day the Earth Stood Still was film number 4 on my list of movies I can't believe I spent $9.00 to see at the theatre. I'm pretty sure I dozed off somewhere in the middle. But then, Keanu Reeves acting usually has that affect on me.

Although it's a bugger to know it was $9.00 wasted, I'm glad it sucked. Why does Hollywood keep messing with classic films? It is'nt as if there are no scripts out there. They need to grow some balls and start taking chances on the smaller scale films.

As for Statham, I have heard that Transporter 3 is pretty bad the first two are just damn good fun.

I don't care... I still need to see it. I could just eat him alive he's so damn fine. And oh yeah...he's a good actor too.

I'm hoping Death Race will be a good watch. It seems like it would be hard to mess that up you know?

I will still see it as well. I have most of Stathams films. He has plenty of haters but sod it. I like that he comes across in both film and in interviews as a completely normal bloke. He's not the best actor in the world and he's bald but he does'nt give a toss. Likeability is far more endearing that half of the preening pretty boys in Hollywood.

Yeah, but he's hot bald. Not everyone can pull it off, but he's definitely got it going on. And he seems like a bad ass, definitely not a pretty boy. Hate pretty boys.
