This is my haul from yesterday, having a friend who prints comics for all the major publishers here in Poland ... it's awesome ;) Most of these are 40$, 300+ page long compilations, like that batman vs dredd - all stories about them both, in one volume.
I'm especially excited about what you can see in the upper right corner - "eternal war" and "eternal freedom". I remember reading these as a kid, following up with the book.. and it was amazing.

Good stuff, I only recognize Batman, Hulk, and Hellboy though. Do you prefer having them in polish? I figured since you speak english well itd be better to have them in their original form.

I'd prefer the originals for sure, but it's not like I have a choice - I got these for free as a gift ;) In fact now that I think about it, I had some originals back in the day, before my mother convinced me to give them away because "you're 14 now, an adult, these are silly" .. well, this is proof I wasn't adult enough to call bs :D Now the only comic book in English I have is "Fables".
Anyway, there are 2 Witcher comics, complete Watchmen anthology (though I've a feeling it's only the original story - there were more, right ?), 2 Preacher issues (300+ pages big each, so .. I'm not really sure just how many issues are there), those BBPO are called B.P.R.D. or BPRD in english, it's another one by Mike Mignola (and also 350+ pages each).

Yeah a few years ago they did Before Watchmen which was a bunch of mini-series that focused on specific characters and fleshed out the universe. Was kind of pointless but some of it was alright. Alan Moore was fit to throw a tantrum over the whole thing though.

OMG I forgot how completely ridiculous and ridiculously awesome Berserk was.

I do not like that artwork at all.

Spidey is actually just jelly.

Oh yeah I was too lazy to respond to this but that's much more stylized than Berserk usually looks and was used to contrast the more detailed, realistic artwork for the sake of visual characterization. If you don't like that then it's questionable whether Berserk is for you but just sayin' that one pic isn't representational.

I like those images better, but I typically don't like graphic novels that deviate too far from your standard realistic color panels. Even that Peter Pan one was tough to look at sometimes. Hoping to get over it so I can enjoy more things..
