I've been a Superman hater for years. Then this last year or so I read Geoff Johns' Superman run from the early 2000's and realized that I was a fool. Now I'm watching a bit of Superman: The Animated Series from the 90s, which I watched the **** out of back in the day, and don't even know how I could have kept up the pretense cause clearly I was full of **** even as a child. Yeah he's a goofy hero in a lot of ways, but he's also the greatest modern piece of fantasy storytelling. There's just something about Superman, yo, something that isn't a thing even for Green Lantern or the Flash or Thor or any of those other mega-superpowered guys.

Do you admit that Triple H is better than Stephen Hawking?

My mother: Charles, do you sometimes go by an alias? Me: What? My mother: I was going to send a package back to sender, but do you go by "Joey DeMaio" (bassist of Manowar)? Me: Oh, yeah that's me. The pitfalls of being drunk while creating your eBay account. But **** me is Secret Origins #36 awesome. Neil Gaiman (of Sandman and American Gods fame) writing Poison Ivy's definitive characterization. And the comic is in flawless condition. Best $10 I ever spent wasted.

TFW you order comics off eBay and they look great on delivery but the person delivered them in bags with no boards and you're like, WTF? Why not just put in some boards? Loser.
*puts in boards because I have my own laying around like a true playa* My haul btw. Amazing, bizarre, Lovecraftian mini-series that I'm fairly sure Todd McFarlane stole the design for Venom from and exposes the writer's desire to **** his mother.

Bags and boards. The bags are the clear plastic bags you put comics in, and the boards are the thin cardboard pieces you put in the bag to keep the comic from getting bent. Try to keep up. Quote:
Here's my review of the series.

Think Dr. Strange but the character was created decades earlier. Except that this series was about a boy and his step mother becoming Dr Fate at the same time and it doesn't make sense but it was the 80s so it didn't matter cause comics were bat**** crazy and awesome in the 80s. And there was bizarre incest. Here's my review of the series.[/QUOTE] Huh???
