My hours are such **** at work atm that I don't really have any extra money to spend on bull****, but omfg I want this shirt so bad. I really shouldn't be drunk and fiending for dumb **** cause I'm fin to buy it anyway, but **** me do I want that shirt.

Just went on an ebay snipe fest.

Picked up the first three hard cover trades for the Walking Dead ($10)

Picked up the first volume of the 2011 Venom run ($3)

Picked up the hard cover trade for the Shadowlands ($4)

Picked up the first three volumes of saga ($5)

I think it worked out overall.

That's the only Venom comic that still interests me on more than a nostalgia/amused level. The idea of the symbiote as a corrupter of human consciousness seems to be one that is oddly unexplored in Marvel comics for the sake of cheap panels of tongue, teeth, and drool. I've still to read more than a few issues of that run though.

Currently rereading/catching up on the new Suicide Squad series, and I must say that it was a good ****ing idea to get Jim Lee to draw it. If there's one thing that man is good at it's making things look god damn awesome.

Batman: Under the Red Hood is the best ****ing movie, dudes. I could watch Red Hood take people out all day. Uh... spoilers I guess...

This is why I think Robins are underrated. Just because they have a goofy, camp history doesn't mean they're not hand chosen acolytes of a master who put them through training that would drop a Navy SEAL. Robin, Nightwing, Red Hood, whatever, they're all scary, urban ninjas.
