First of all, Alestorm has proven themselves to be talented for making a super badass cover of a Lazy Town song.

Second, for tose who love gangster movies and brothels, I highly recommend Luminahi by J. Wiesner on Deviantart. It's only 48 pages, but it's freakin' amazing. Fantastic story znd characters.

... What does Alestorm have to do with anything?

Thw gif in the last post was a clip from the Lazy Town song Alestorm covered. Look up "You Are a Pirate."

So I'm a total comic book noob outside of stuff I've learned from Marvel & DC video games or movies, but I've recently started the Planet Hulk series thanks to a recommendation from one of my friends, and this shit is awesome, I can see myself reading a lot more in the future.

Download this comic reader program to be able to read online comics. It's easy as watching rocket science.

Comic Rack - Downloads

And then download and read this, quite possibly the greatest Batman story ever told.

Batman - The Long Halloween

After this... there is too much to describe to do justice to where to go from here.

I've just been download torrents and reading them through the image viewer on my Mac, you can open the full comic in the viewer and then just use the mouse to flip through, pretty easy as is.

I'll definitely check out that Batman story, there's so many different characters I look forward to digging into.

Just give me a heads up as to what you want to get into. I got a whole network of piracy sites, and I can pretty much find you anything, from old school ****, to stuff that's come out this very Wednesday (the official "new comic book day" for all companies).

Batman? I got you.

Spider-Man? Hit me up.

X-Men? You're covered.

Deadpool? I know what to check out first.

I'd start with Ultimate Spider-Man. It was an alternate universe Spider-Man, launched after the first movie came in the early 00's out to basically start SM from scratch outside of the canon series, to allow new readers to get into it without having to worry about nearly forty years of continuity. It's pretty much the perfect re-imagining of Spider-Man for the modern day, distilling everything that makes him work in a way that still feels fresh. The original, sixties stuff is great, but Ultimate Spider-Man is pretty much Spider-Man perfected.
