Ok so for a beginner in the comic book world what comics should i look at ......i find super hero stuff very interesting and i also would like the stay at a reasonable price

I'd try Watchmen, by Alan Moore. It's $20, but you can get it on amazon for $10 (albeit, w/shipping). It closely examines and questions the idea of being a "superhero", as well as how mentally stable such a person could possibly be. It's a classic comic book, and is considered the book that convinced many to actually take the art form seriously.

Well, if you want single issues, I wouldn't know, I don't by them. If you want TPB's (trade paperbacks, the bigger graphic novels that are either complete stories or collections of single issues), they vary usually from between a little less than $10, to around $30. There are some really huge ones, often hard-cover, that cost more than that.
