A friend sent me a 10th anniversary collection dc universe dvd box set with 32 animated movies. I still havent finished it but the last one i saw was killing joke which was.. Barbara gordon.

The batman ones in particular are very good, i admit i didn't give a sht about the robins until i saw those, now at least i like Jason and Damian. The green lantern ones are the weakest in the set, even the teen titan ones are better and the justice league ones are decent and theres flashpoint paradox which made aquaman daddy. Oh and then theres this scene in redhood



That crowbar joke actually made me get the joker's sense of humor for once.

Under the Red Hood is amazing. That fight scene with the three cyborgs is like the best animated fight scene ever. Flashpoint Paradox is killer too. That last scene with Batman and Flash always gets to me.

And **** you for getting that. I've been collecting those movies for a little while and I'm sure that would save me a lot of money. Does it have Death of Superman? That's pretty lit and way better than the comic version.

I'm buying way too many damn comics but Marvel's Complete Collections are too damn tempting. They're smaller than an omnibus with usually just less than 20 issues each, but they're generally in the $20-$30 range and aren't awkward as **** to try to read without laying them flat on a table. Unfortunately to bring down the price they're pretty bare bones and aren't made with as much quality as an omnibus, but nearly 20 issues of comics for $25 is hard to argue with.

I've already acquired vol. 1 of both Superior Spider-Man and Doom Patrol, and now I have vol 1 of Annihilation coming. It's basically the event that relaunched Marvel Cosmic as a thing that eventually led to the formation of Guardians of the Galaxy and what I've already read was pretty ****in' lit and I have little doubt that if it doesn't get directly adapted into the MCU then it will at least be a huge influence in the next couple of phases.

In the near future there's a new American civil war between the US government and the "Free States" and there's a new cease fire with both sides staring at each other across the Hudson River with the island of Manhattan as a no man's land hellhole between them and the main character is part of a news team sent in for the first time since the conflict started to show what life is like in this bombed out garbage heap. I've read a bit of it a while back but now I'm collecting the trades and it's amazing **** I imagine you'd love if you haven't read it already.

Current Red Sonja series is both awesome and hilarious and the villain is delightful.

Hot damn, Carnage can be a fun villain but his sixteen issue series from 2015-2017 was hands down the best thing I've seen him in. ****in' Carnage trying to resurrect a Lovecraftian Elder God with J. Jonah Jameson's astronaut/werewolf son and Eddie Brock (with a different symbiote than Venom) among others trying to stop him. It's exactly the kind of "larger-than-life pulp nonsense that just gets bigger and more absurd by the issue before climaxing in nearly the end of the world" **** that makes comic books the best thing on earth. Highly recommended to Lucem I guess since he's a Carnage fan.

Just got this bad boy and I'm excited for three reasons: I'm already a fan of the Thunderbolts from reading their earlier stories but this is the first physical Thunderbolts comic I own; in this book Norman ****ing Osborn becomes leader of the Thunderbolts and adds Venom and Bullseye to the team (upping the crazy factor by like 20) so they can hunt down unregistered superheroes for S.H.I.E.L.D. after Civil War, which is just so perverted and cool that I can't stand it; and this is also my first Warren Ellis comic and I've been meaning to read something of his since I keep hearing his name spoken in the same breath as writers like Alan Moore and Grant Morrison who are my gods.

And a fourth reason I'm excited is anything with Moonstone in it being a conniving, evil bitch is my favorite thing.

The story takes place in divided Berlin during the Cold War circa '73. Incidentally it's been 30 years since the Berlin Wall fell (Nov. '91). The premise involving spies and an alien monster has plenty of potential and I anticipate the story unfolding.

OMG possible Thunderbolts/Dark Avengers? That would be an amazing way to wipe the taste of Suicide Squad out of my mouth. The possibility of Moonstone onscreen will haunt me until it happens. And **** Ross. Give me Norman Osborn. I keep hearing rumors of Mathew McConaughey being cast as Osborn for something or other so McConaughey being the leader of the Thunderbolts is a dream.
