The Vertigo titles are all rather good. All of them are like modern Grimm tales. Fable is another one I would mention specifically to new readers.

I already have it all pirated but it's not the best quality and you can never have too many versions of B:TAS. After I get all of it I think I'll turn my eyes on Young Justice. That was a good ****ing show and I still need to finish it. Especially since it's back and Red Hood's appearing in the next season (HOLLA!!!)

I think I'm gonna try reading Civil War II. A while back I was enjoying the Captain Marvel series from 2016 but it got interrupted by CW2 after FIVE ****ing issues and then ended at #10, like, **** you, Marvel. Now I want to bone up on her newer stuff but there's a giant Civil War II hole right in the middle and since she's supposed to be one of two central characters then I guess it is time to beat my head against the massive crossover wall once again.

And of course since Iron Man's the other central character I have to read The five issues of Invincible Iron Man before Road to Civil War II cause you can't just start at the prologue to an event, no no no that would be sensible, you have to be a masochist and prep for the prologue to the event you want to read.

Oh yeah so Road to Civil War II also has Ultimates #7 and the new Ultimates series seems pretty relevant with its themes of hubris and the powerful meddling with things they only think they understand, and pretty nifty with the cosmic and science word stuff. So I'm starting from issue #1 with that as well and do you see why I don't read that many massive crossovers? It's been like four days since I decided to read Civil War II and I still have yet to read Civil War II #1.

I haven't at all been keeping up with the new Spider-Man movie but Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio? Consider me intrigued.
