And 99.9% of downloads are in English. I think you're just gonna have to bite the bullet and starting reading 'Murican.

I've found Spanish translations of certain comics on Pastebin.com, so that might help you, but I kind of doubt it. It's probably just the one guy posting Spanish translations.

You were right: nothing found in Italian. No problem, I'll start reading in English!

Just let me know if you want sites to get **** from. I've built up a nearly foolproof network that has failed me perhaps once or twice in the past.

Well, I would be grateful if you could give me some sites, if you don't mind.

AllComicBooks.us

My go-to site. It has a fantastic collection, but just remember that many of its downloads have a password: allcomicbooks.us

ComicsCodes - Download Free DC and Marvel Comics

My second go-to site.

Two new sites for me that rule.

http://www.comix4free.com/

GetComics – Free DC and Marvel Comics Download -

The Reddit thread that is THE place for new comics the day they are released. Just remember to use the correct search criteria, or else you will get nothing: "*title name* *issue number in three digits*" (e.g. "Deadpool 023", "Uncany X-Men 003", etc). That is exactly how you must do it, and if you follow that simple guideline, you will be able to read any comic released on the day it is released. On Wednesday.

Thank you so much Batlord! I'll search the comics you told me about, I'll read them and then I'll let you know my opinion :)

Don't be afraid to mine me for recs. I'm a comic fiend and narcissist who loves to show off. Give me half a chance and I'll tell you all about how most Deadpool fans are poseurs.

Stay away from Daniel Way. He's the most famous D-Piddy writer, but basically made him into a walking punchline without any depth. If you've seen the movie, then you've seen a tiny bit of the depth that Joe Kelly brought to Deadpool in one of the best comic arcs of all time in the first Deadpool solo series (which only lasted a little past thirty issues, before he left, to be replaced by Who-The-****-Cares?

After that then I highly recommend Deadpool: MAX, an alternate dimension take on Deadpool that is even more R-rated than usual. He gets high on PCP at one point, if that helps, but it's one of the few series that focuses on him as being mentally disturbed, as opposed to simply being "hilariously" zany. Deadpool is brilliant when he's crazy, but boring when he's just whacky.

Deadpool's previous series, written by Brian Posehn and Gerry Duggan, was also brilliant for about the first third or so of the series, until it peaked and just become pretty good (though the first six issues are kinda ****).

Marvel Comics – Deadpool Comic Collection – Volume 1 | Comicsdownload.NET

Volume 1 is what you want, and only then until #33, but Sins of the Past and The Circle Chase at least give the character his first taste of being something other than a lame Rob Liefeld vehicle (if that means anything to you).

I didn't see the film and I've never read any Deadpool comic, so I'm a total stranger in his world. But the Deadpool MAX series gets me particularly curious.
However, the universes of Marvel and DC Comics are so extended and ingenious that is impossible to read and know all the stories....unless you're immortal and you have the same budget as Bruce Wayne ahaha...

There are a lot of ****ty Deadpool comics, but the ones that are good are great. Deadpool MAX is definitely a series that's worth your time. His first solo series though is where Deadpool became a character worth writing about, and is one of my favorite series of all time.

And you should most definitely watch the movie. It's ****ing awesome.

FranPZ 05-06-2016 12:52 AM

I'll watch it!
I found a comic shop in a city not very near my town, but neither too far...when I have the occasion to go there, I'll go and I'll stock up (I don't know if it is the right verb) a lot of Batman and Deadpool comics (budget permitting!).

djchameleon 05-12-2016 05:00 AM

I'm going to dig into Planet Hulk because I'm curious what he was up to while Civil War was going down.

The Batlord 05-13-2016 03:03 PM

Potential Vague Spoilers for Captain America: Civil War

Okay, so obviously the next Avengers movie is going to feature a different set of Avengers than the last two movies... probably... unless Marvel pusses out. So, considering just who is the current set of Avengers padawans, what is your dream team? Who do you wanna see fight Thanos?

Some rules:

1. At least one of the Top Two (Iron Man and Captain America) must be used, since one of them will obviously be team leader, but if Iron Man is included, then Captain America can't be, and vice versa, for obvious reasons. Considering the plot of Civil War, you should plan your team accordingly, unless you can explain why, say, War Machine would be on Captain America's Avengers.

2. Only MCU-affiliated superheroes may be used. Spider-Man has been greenlit for MCU movies, but the Fantastic Four and X-Men have not, so as much as you might want to see Wolverine in the next Avengers movie, it will almost certainly never happen. So wipe your tears and get over it.

3. Other than Iron Man and Captain America, no restrictions exist for the other 1st gen Avengers. You can use whomever and however many you want, but don't be boring. Your list should be fun and interesting.

4. If you wanna go the extra mile and make two teams (one for Cap and one for Iron Man) then feel free, but that's on you, dawg. That's too much thinkin' for me.

Personally, I'm like a kid in a candy store, and don't know who I'd want as my next Avengers team, especially since I don't know how things will evolve in the next few years (f.ex. will Black Panther be used in such a way that, when the time comes, he will be better as an Avenger or by himself?), so I'm just going to sit back and let you all think for me.

Oriphiel 05-13-2016 06:33 PM

I'd like to see She Hulk join the team, as long as they don't make her into a CGI shitfest.

Also, they should add Wonder Man, so he can be the first to die.

JGuy Grungeman 05-14-2016 11:46 AM

If they did Ant-Man, they'll do She-Hulk since she's way bigger (no size puns intended).

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 05-16-2016 10:44 AM

Robert Downey Jr jokes though.

Harley Quinn. Still one of the best titles on the rack.

I love them both deeply, but Harley's current series is far superior to Deadpool's. And just by coincidence, the guy she's hitting is a self-conscious Deadpool stand-in named "Red Tool". It's a pretty epic not-quite-crossover.

Well, I stopped reading comics a year or so ago. So I don't know about the current series. But that sounds awesome. What's the series name. I might have to check this out.

It's just Harley Quinn. And I'm just going to assume that you're not a child of the 90s, and didn't grow up watching Batman: The Animated Series every day after school, meaning that Harley Quinn is not imprinted on your psyche. Otherwise you would not have said what you did.

I know who Harley Quinn is. I just never got into batman and his cast of cards much. In fact I never got into DC in general. Other than Martian Manhunter, DC wasn't my flavor. Which is comical cause my uncle has practically made a living off Batman without working for DC. But I meant the Story Arc name.

I've never read or seen Harley Quinn. Having said that, I am aware of her underrated importance to the series and I can't wait to see her, Killer Croc, and Joker in Suicide Squad.

I do love a good graphic novel.

My favorites: Habibi,Persepolis,Kafka-The Trial,The Sculptor,Maus,Watchmen and there are more.

I want to get my hands on American Splendor (has anyone watched the movie?) .

Ermahgerd. Just finished Joss Whedon's run on Astonishing X-Men, and it was fantastic. The man can do very little wrong. I remember hearing that Buffy Summers was inspired by Kitty Pryde, and unsurprisingly she's given a very prominent and delightful role in the series. Probably the best portrayal of her character I've seen, and the ending... if I had a soul I'd shed a tear. A highly recommended series for any X-Fan.

Now reading Grant Morrison's New X-Men and Jean Grey just dropped a Kurt Cobain reference into a big serious speech about mutant genocide. So good.

Yeah I saw they put out teasers for Luke Cage and Iron Fist. Only watched the Iron Fist one, but I'm glad the show didn't get axed like I heard it might have been a while back. Now I'm gonna have to finally read Matt Fraction's Immortal Iron Fist.
