If you don't know who Neal Adams is he is, along with writer Dennis O'Neal, the reason people still care about Batman.

For some reason this thread reminded me of how ancient the tradition of illustration goes back and how it’s connected in obscure ways to the birth of the comic. Gustav Dore’s ‘Michael finds Discord presiding over an election in the monastery’ came to mind (below)

Thinking about selling my 20+ Deadpool comics. I've had them for about 15 years.... my big plan was he'd be super popular eventually, but even with the movies & resurgent interest, they're not worth much. I don't think they ever will be.
I don't even read them, I just used to be a /b/tard and he was the posterchild and I knew he'd be mainstream popular eventually. What do you wise (wo)men think? Hold or sell?

They'll never be worth anything cause there's no shortage of nerds with the exact same comics in their collection in better condition.
