~zombies~
This thread is for anyone who is obsessed or at least intrigued by zombies, zombification, zombie hunters, and even the movie "Fido."
Post about favorite zombie movies, favorite "horror rock" bands, The Complete Zombie Survival Guide, or any personal zombie attacks. =P Favorite zombie movie? Right now either Fido, Shaun of the Dead, or Grindhouse: Planet Terror. Just because they all take a different, and mostly comedic look at the zombie story. P.S. Whether you like Rob Zombie's music or not, the man is a genius. He turned the phrases "Hey yeah" and "Yeah" into a million dollar enterprise. Last edited by EdwardCheese; 12-02-2008 at 03:01 AM. |

In Media now and we'll see where it goes. Can't beat a good zombie film of course, Planet Terror being my favourite as it's a completely over the top piss-take really.

The Living Dead At The Manchester Morgue is one of my favourites by far. Highly atmospheric and Italian. Yay.

I was really disappointed with Fido, bored the knackers off me and I was expecting good things from that, Shaun dumps on it from a great height i'm afraid. Even Weekend at Bernies 2 is better.
The Cannes cut of Dawn of the Dead is my all time fave and is up there with my favourite films of all time, it absolutely blew me away when i first saw it. Day of the Dead is another criminaly underrated Romero flick, its up there with Dawn in my eyes. Tombs of the Blind Dead and City of the Dead also get honourable mentions. Re-animator is also a class film, reminds me of the old Henenlotter films with plasticine in abundance (which is so much better than some of the ****ty CGI thats used these days) |

The whole Blind Dead collection is wonderfully atmospheric and a big shout out to Hammer's 'Plague Of The Zombies'. Wonderful wonderful film.
