gotta go with "shaun of the dead" as a personal fave...land of the dead was pretty sweet too, if for nothing else than some of the gore scenes.

It aired on Channel 4 and was absolutely diabolical.

You should check out Diary of the Dead...there were some kick ass gore scenes in that one.

Frankenstein counts as a zombie, correct? I like Shaun of the Dead, too. I think the Jamaican drug slave zombie is pretty cool, too. I want to watch Serpent and the Rainbow, soon.

AND I want to play Left 4 Dead.

Lets see...
Fido was a pretty funny movie.
As was Shaun of the Dead.
And 28 Days later has to be one of my favorites because its nicely accented with music from Brian Eno.

Favorite horror-rock is Zombie Girl. Its kinda techno-y and you can probably only get away with listening to it on a regular basis around Halloween.

Watched rec not too long ago. Anyone seen it. It's a Spannish film, that claims to be low budget but the acting and plotline really doesn't reflect this. I can't do good plot summaries so this is from IMDB " 'REC' turns on a young TV reporter and her cameraman who cover the night shift at the local fire station. Receiving a call from an old lady trapped in her house, they reach her building to hear horrifying screams - which begin a long nightmare and a uniquely dramatic TV report." Written by Davi Silva. one of those filmed entirely on a handheld camera movies but it does work -definitely worth a watch.

There's a really great comic book called The Walking Dead by Robert Kirkman and put out by Image comics. It's about a father and son dealing with the break down of society when a zombie infection destroys society.

It's less a horror comic, and more a psychological drama, sometimes bordering on soap opera, but it feels real. People don't always do the right thing-- lots of stress, a lot of success and failure, and major characters are here one moment, then dead the next. I highly recommend it for anyone who likes Zombies.
