Me too, but Star Wars is fun.

And my choice wasn't sarcastic, I think Emperor Palpatine is a great character.

blah, blah, blah...focus. Blah, blah, blah...Dark Side. But seriously I love Ian McDiarmand(sp). I think he should have gotten an oscar nomination for Revenge of the Sith.

Lando Calrissian is the clear winner for me. He's got the cool rogue thing going on like Han Solo but he's so much smoother. Plus he has a great character arc over the course of the two movies he's in.

I thought Ewan McGregor had a better performance, but I don't think either deserved an Oscar. Star Wars movies don't generally show as much emotional depth as most movies nominated for Oscars, it's more about the plot than character development.

I think his name was Porkins or something like that. He must have had a rough childhood.

OMG, I was right. His name was Jek Porkins. What a name for a fat guy to go through life with.

I think he's actually the same actor who played the "we have top men working on it" guy from Raiders of the Lost Ark too.

[/dork]
