Leolo (1992) Amazing French-Canadian movie from a director who sadly died in a plane crash not long after the movie came out. Imagine a cross between Pan's Labyrinth and The Royal Tenenbaums and you're getting close to what this movie is like. I had the hardest fucking time finding this on DVD. So that, coupled with the fact that it's one of my favorite movies, easily makes it my most treasured. Of course once I finally got my hands on it I started seeing it for sale in stores all over the place but that seems to be the way these thing go. |

No pretty postcards , no flashy gimmick box , no special features or commentaries. Just the greatest TV series ever made , and that'll do me fine.
