i'll give you best in 15 years but i don't think they've topped 'all in the family' yet hehe

while they did have some solid satire in their early seasons they also had just as many fart joke episodes from what i remember.

the sh*t episode was on yesterday. amazing.

Come on, the lice episode? The one where Towelie was on Oprah? South Park has had more than a few misses.

That says more about TV than it does the show. That is if a show that features a talking piece of sh*t as a recurring character is actually the smartest show on television.

Both great episodes. The Lice one really took a shot at over the top epic cinema like Michael Bay likes to make. And the Towlie one aside from being hilarious featured a talking minge and a-hole.


And that's piece of shit that teaches life lesson's and it's not a recurring character hardly. 3 Episodes in 11 years.

The thing I like about South Park is that they maintain the overall mood of it if you know what I mean. Sure the jokes are funny, but sometimes you just have to laugh at the ridiculous scenarios/parodies in general.

It's mood which makes the UK Office, I'm Alan Partridge and Peep Show great shows... it's not just the jokes you laugh at, but the palpable awkwardness of the scenes.

This is the single most pretentious post in the history of every website on the internet. No Dream Theater fan can be half as asinine as you nor lodge his head half as far into Petrucci's ass as you have Cartman's. You really deserve an award for being the biggest douche to ever own a computer.

I liked Family Guy when it was first on the air, but it's become a parody of itself. The gimmick's gotten old, and the new season is pretty much unwatchable. South Park, on the other hand, started out as a silly, vulgar show with little point to it whatsoever and has evolved into an incredibly well thought out piece of comedic brilliance. Yeah there's a few lemons thrown in the mix but for the most part it usually delivers both laughs and social commentary with equal prowess - without getting rid of the d*ck and fart jokes that got it watched in the first place.
