For me, pretty much every major animated Disney movie besides Snow White.

This is probably one of the most grossly offensive depictions of computers and a hackers ability (at least until they made Live Free Die Hard) but I find myself strangely drawn to it. I think it might have something to do with the mid '90's Angelina Jolie with short hair... yeah I think that might be it. OH! and it has a pre-Wire Bunk Moreland in it.

I like Jim Carrey. I really shouldn't, but I do. I still need to see Eternal Sunshine and The Truman Show, but I've got most of his... filmography in my head.

My soft spot is sports movies targeted at children:

The Big Green
Little Giants
Rookie of the Year
Little Big League
Angels in the Outfield

Never heard of any of them but if they are American sports films then they wouldn't have made a huge dent over here anyhow and even British sports movies generally suck.

On a separate note I have had Friday Night Lights sat on my DVD shelf for 3 years. Someone gave it to me but I cannot stand American Football so always leave it sitting there. Is it worth a watch?

The Fast and Furious series of films (well number 3 did suck).

I don't drive and have no interest in cars. I have judged Vin Diesel's career by the films ( he disappeared for a couple of movies and realised that he didn't cut it so came back) and most of the music used is atrocious but they are just pure cheese films.

I don't have to think about them whilst watching them. I know they are marketed for a particular demograph and if anyone takes them seriously then they have some problems with films as an art form but I think that growing up in the 80's with videos being the only outlet to see a whole variety of films that would never see the light of day on general release softens your opinions to what you are prepared to watch.

We had to sit through some absolute crap to find the odd gem but this also meant that you are much more tolerant in what affects you because you had no choice really.

The only problem I have is that people may think that I love films like this. I don't. I just appreciate what they are about and can differentiate easily between a film with fast cars, dumb plots and ample flesh from a film that is more cerebral. I know the difference and sometimes just want to sit there and be a dumb twat for 90 mins.

Nothing wrong with that.

To hell with the haters, I love this film - it's just moronic fun of the highest order. All that said, it's easy to see why so many people despise this though, let alone why it bombed on theatrical release.
