Mechs, stupidly huge guns, an amazing soundtrack, lots of mech customization and lots and lots of missions. Some of my most memorable 360's gameplay moments have been in Armored Core 5, finally figuring out how to blow some nasty opponent to bits in a mech duel.

I don't think the 360 games are that rare or expensive. I got all 4 for 360 quite cheap back in the day. The PS2 Armored Core games can be harder to find and are way harder to play anway, so I think the 5th game is the best place to start, plus it's my favorite in the series. There's a really cool stand-alone expansion too, called Verdict Day, but that of course requires you're already into the main game.

I already own Skyrim on 360 and have played the ever loving **** out of it, but never had the DLC. Bought it off Steam just for the DLC and mods, but my computer's kinda weak to run it on anything but low graphics and the mods kept crashing my ****, so I never got too far with that. Now that my real computer is still down and I'm stuck with my 360 I bought it a third time, but the Legendary Edition with all the DLC.

I'm gonna **** this game up and it's gon' be like...

If you haven't installed any graphic mods then it's probably your configuration order that's ****ed up, install NMM and auto-order your mods.

I know about that, and had it working for a while, but not perfectly. Then I uninstalled Skyrim and had to do it all over again when I reinstalled and mother**** that noise.

Fair enough, modding can be pretty frustrating at the best of times.

You can also keep a copy of the "stock" install in case mods break stuff.

Someone please recommend a bunch of games I could run on a terrible old computer (to give you an idea, it cannot run any WoW expansions past Cata, though it can run the earlier ones fine-- and yet?? I couldn't run Ostrich Island. I got a big angry pink screen every time. I tried everything.) I don't remember the exact specs as my PC is in storage right now. But in a couple weeks once I'm moved and it's set up it would be nice to have a couple brainless multiplayer games that can withstand my awful attention span. I'm not interested in anything like League of Legends though.

I'm also gonna be playing a LOT of The Sims 1 soon since I found all the ancient discs last week.

As far as I know it's the first Star Wars game to let you use lightsabers and Force powers and it's amazing. The live action cut scenes are also a treasure trove of the worst acting imaginable. This game was a large part of my childhood obviously.

And don't worry about Dark Forces 1. It was a glorious Doom ripoff that has absolutely nothing to do with the sequel, other than having the same main character.

And if this game has issues working on a modern computer then just Google it or contact me. I will Google it myself because I at some point will revisit this game myself and must know these things.

Text adventures are also really good for chillin, I recommend Zork.
