So.. I've been playing a lot of World of Warships lately, the game is only getting better and I'm constantly surprised at how much better this game is than World of Tanks.
if anyone would like to start playing .. let me know and I'll send you a ref link that will give you some seriously sweet loot :P
Aanyway, enough with the shameless plug, lately apart from WoWs I've been playing Valkyria Chronicles.

It's a pc port from ps3, so it's not the prettiest game out there .. it's also based on an Anime I've never seen, but judging by the way the story is presented, it's not the .. best, as far as anime are concerned..
But damn, is the gameplay fun! It's a turn based strategy with interesting rules and sometimes very challenging scenarios, with leveling units up, research etc - it ticks all the boxes games like this (tactical, squad based combat) should tick, imo. It's also shown as a rather silly anime, that tries to talk about war and atrocities that follow it, while having things like a flying pig, Hans, joining the tank crew. Because Japan.
So if you can ignore the silly stuff, underneath you'll find a great and demanding tactical game, that is dirt cheap as well (7$ or sth like that, for an edition that includes all dlc).

Always really wanted to play Valkyria Chronicles, but it was never available for Xbox 360. For some reason, most Japanese RPG and strategy titles never came out for that console, while several weird Japanese shooters did.

I hear XBox sells like **** in Japan so that's probably it.

It's just really weird why they would still put out those obscure bullet hell shooters on the 360, when those aren't even available on the PS3. Games like Deathsmiles and DoDonPachi Resurrection.

been playing pubg on xbox for the last couple days... it's pretty much garbage. i mean, don't get me wrong, it's a ton of fun. the issue is it runs absolutely terrible. from god awful servers to horrendous frame rate and unbelievably bad button mapping, it's clear the game just shouldn't be played on console. i've ordered my new computer so now it's just a matter of waiting and i'll finally fully convert to the pc gaming master race.

i'm kinda sketch of getting a laptop with a GTX 1050 but eh it's just a place holder until i finally get around to building my first desk top

it's just as hard as it looks, but it wasn't really all that fun for me. i didn't feel the need to keep pushing myself, and after 90 mins or so of progressing on and then having to restart, i just gave up on the game. ended up getting it refunded because i didn't feel like touching it again. pretty meh.

Should've just built a PC off the bat.

if what you got from my post is that i bought a gaming computer just to play pubg then i dunno what to tell you dude

building a computer is not practical in my life atm, i'm not in one spot often enough to build a desk top and i'm not interested in building a laptop. this computer is a placeholder until i'm in a spot where i'm looking for something more serious.

Just been playing Rocket League the past 6 months. Damn, it's such an addictive game. Anybody got a PS4 and have Rocket League?
