Coming into the Steam summer sale without a money cushion is financial suicide.

Finally got a better pc as a graduation gift and all I've been buying are indie games. **** steam. The biggest thing I bought was shadows of mordor and I already have it on console.
Also my first fps was probably halo or the first quake. Can't remember exactly.

Lol. I still remember the excitement when our local arcade got its first asteroids machine - there were twelve space invaders machines and one asteroids with a huge queue behind it. Home gaming was Atari 2600.

I still remember as a kid in the late nineties discovering Asteroids in my grandparents computer room and being sprung. I was unstoppable.

As much as I claim that I don't like FPS games. I have played most of the classics.
Goldeneye Perfect Dark Duke Nukem Doom Wolfenstein More recent ones Destiny and mirrors edge even though it isn't technically a shooter.

Halo is an American thing, isn't it ? I mean, I have yet to meet an European fan of the series, and I don't know anyone personally that would say the game was great. Most either didn't play it, like ever, or tried and considered it pretty "meh". What's so special about Halo ? I've been wondering that for years and still don't know. |
