Oh ****, two right off the bat. If you two actually follow through I'm starting a thread. An MB 8-player free-for-all would be epic.

When you average 20apm it can appear to the naked eye that you are playing with one hand.

Getting back into Rocket League now that the new season started a few months back. I've decided I'm going to try to rank up as much as possible on duels (meaning 1v1). I don't mind doubles too much, but it's tough to play doubles if you don't know your teammate very well. Duels is all up to pure skill. I did the first 10 races that gives you your starting rank, and I started at Silver II.
Not the worst starting rank since I only lost 1 out of 9 games of the pre-ranks. I feel like i'm going to kick some ass this season, and so far every game I've played, I've won. |

Started playing Metro 2033: Redux, the remastered version of the original Metro 2033. Aside from some framerate issues it's pretty ****ing sick so far. Think Doom by way of Fallout. ****ed up mutant monster things show up out of nowhere as you make your way through dank, shadowy, Russian subway tunnels (the surface being an irradiated wasteland). It's a full FPS, but with upgradeable weapons and metro stations that are populated by Russian survivors that function as cities and markets, so it's got RPG elements, even if they don't creep into the run-and-gun gameplay. It's all mission-based, so you're not exploring an open world, but the environments are gnarly and creepy as ****, with the constant threat of half-seen, demon-looking monsters bum rushing you and taking way too many bullets to ****ing die. The combat is therefore intense and chaotic and you will probably die quite often. I'm only a couple hours into the game and it's already somewhat challenging. It's also got survival horror elements and aesthetics, with weapons that aren't entirely effective against anything but humans, and limited ammunition (though not prohibitively limited) that makes every encounter into a moderately nerve-racking event often preceded by howling freaks that you can't see and therefore spend a good twenty seconds frantically searching for, lest they eviscerate you from behind. It doesn't help that the enemies are faster than you. I wouldn't call it scary, at least not yet, but it's still an unnerving experience. ATM I highly recommend it to fans of post-apocalyptic games, unique first-person shooters, and horror games. *patiently awaits a response from Yac*
