Looked at steam sales yesterday nothing really caught my eye.

Anyone pick up some new games?

I blew at least $60 on Ultimate Team in FIFA 17. **** EA and **** me even more for falling into the trap. Nothing was even on sale, they just put out more packs than usual.

Never heard of it before a few weeks ago but it sounds ****ing amazing: an FPS, open world, survival horror game set in and around Chernobyl. Like, the most amazing real life setting for a horror game ever? ****. Yes.

How is it? Almost picked it up last night, but wasn't sure about it.

Haven't played enough of it to build an opinion. Feels like a budget Fallout, but without the RPG elements and you can get your face shot off by one random dude in about two seconds.

I've heard it's unforgivingly difficult. I may give it a shot.

I'll give it more time just as soon as I'm not lazy. Which will probably be tonight. At the very least it looks worth $8.

^I'll look into it.

As far as the games I've bought during this sale: I think I've asked for refunds on all of them. A lot of early access game and games I thought were cool but aren't actually cool. Disappointing. Especially Cities: skylines.

Though...Planet Coaster looks amazing but I'm not about to push out 50$ for it.

It does look awesome. Markiplier has an ongoing series of it and it looks like a lot of fun.
