I've never played a Zelda game beyond the beginning of Wind Waker.

I may show up. I'm gonna install Elder Scrolls Online again so I've got time to kill.

9th Dawn II

Here's a game I picked up because it was on sale through Steam and holy **** it's got potential to be an absolutely amazing game. I picked it up because I'm a big fan of rogue like games like Binding of Isaac and Enter The Gungeon. 9th Dawn takes the rogue like genre and throws it into a Diablo-esque RPG style game with leveling up and character customization much like you'd see in KOTOR or any game that involves RPG mechanics. It's got the graphics of what you'd find in Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 and the controls and combat are super straight forward. I literally just got to the first city and started a new quest before coming in here to talk about it. This one is going to be a lot of fun. For 3 bucks, it's certainly worth the money.

I made my guy look like a total nerd, so his voice actually fits. I didn't purposefully make him look like a nerd, but the character modding is so freakin weird in ME1 that it didn't matter what I did - he came out looking like a tool. I tried 3 times and ended up just going with it.

I sometimes imagine his voice with the default Shep model and can't help but feel there is a real Mike Tyson situation going on there.

You made the right choice. I've memorized every aspect of that game...I sometimes do a run through when I need to destress. Hands down one of the greatest games ever made, and definitely the best Zelda. They will never top it.

That's why I never really use the character creator except to change FemShep's hair and eye color and make her lips just a tad bigger. It's a cinematic game with a character who has a distinct personality no matter which path you take, so personalizing their appearance is kinda pointless to me. Just a few tweaks is all I need.

About an hour in. I love this game already. Super worth the money I spent. Lots of cool stuff to do, cool loot, great quests that aren't just "go here and go there."
