Ha ha, it can be a pain, but it keeps you on your toes. I don't want to spoil too much, but my advice would be to save as much ammo/medicine as possible by running past enemies rather than shooting them, only killing them when you absolutely have to, since there are a bunch of hallways that can't be made safe (as in, if you kill all the raptors in certain areas, more will respawn later, so it's a waste of ammo). Also, don't forget that there is a crafting system. It seems pretty useless at first, but it becomes almost mandatory later in the game.

Maybe some spoilers below?

Even the first one had a great story system...this is the only game where I ended up regretting some of my choices. I wanted my guy to be slightly traumatized from his experience on akuze where he was the only survivor of a thresher maw attack - this also meant I was very distrustful of Cerberus in ME2 since they were behind it. Anyway, I also wanted my guy to be very open with all alien races, so I berated Ashley for being a racist bitch and spent the whole game trying to convince people humans were alright. Well, it came down to saving the council or not and I felt like the damn Reaper was more important, so I let them die. The irony of trying to not be a racist only to be accused of being the most racist ass hole ever in ME2 stung a bit. That's the first time that ever happened to me in a game.

Anyway, I love this stuff and I'm sure I'll be chomping at the bit for Andromeda once I wrap up the trilogy.

We'll see how you feel after ME3 lol. Not that it's a bad game, but a lot of things about it left a bad taste in my and many other players' mouths. But ME1 definitely had the best story, even if the gameplay was too basic.

Dante's Inferno, haven't played it in ages and I forgot how much fun it was.

Great game. I remember getting through nearly half of it before I gave up. Mostly because it was hard as **** from what I remember.

I know the ME3 ending got some hate, but they released some DLC to fix that, right? Is there other stuff people don't like?

Either way, I'm all about 2 at the moment. I'm fully invested in my character's story arc.

The "fixed" ending only fleshed the ****ty ending out. It didn't actually fix anything. It was still all bull****.

Let me give you a fair warning: you will be angry with me3. It's a great game and all, but it has one thing that from a game design point of view, wasn't the best choice.
There is this galaxy readiness meter, it starts at 50% i believe - the score you get from choices etc it's multiplied by this percentage, so doing everything you can without touching mp will only give you half of the score you can have.. and while the multi is surprisingly fun (though unbalanced as hell).. you might have trouble finding anyone online now. I know I did, when I came to the game after a year after release ..and while doing some mp missions solo is doable, it's a pain and a veeeery long grind.

Aside from that though - great games.
Do you have all the dlc's ? I assume they are not expensive now and from what I can remember, they added really sweet missions and story arcs. I especially liked the Lair of the Shadow broker (as it was a stunning location and a very fun quest) and Overlord, that brought back one of the most underappreciated elements of me1 - vehicle driving. This time though it's not the crazy mako that liked to defy physics, but 4 geth hunting missions in a hovertank that are done right.

Poseur. If you had a save game carried over from the first two games you could get your galaxy readiness full without multiplayer. So definitely do that, Duga.

Ahhh..yeah I can see how that would be annoying. Thankfully, I am using one save file throughout all 3 games, so if what Batlord said is true, then I won't have to worry about that.

I did get the Laid of the Shadow Broker - mostly because I wanted to continue hooking up with Liara, and that made it easy to do. I was happy the actual mission was a lot of fun.

Yeah, I'm fully invested in my current Shep. He's been through a lot.

The Batlord 10-18-2016 01:54 PM

**** Male Shep. ****ty voice actor. FemShep is the only Shep and Jennifer Hale actually sounds like she's not reading the script as she says her lines.
