For me it's more about the multiplayer. Once the new game drops everybody jumps to it so there's a lot less going on with Ultimate Team on the previous version. Also, for someone like myself who puts a ton of time into games like FIFA, Madden, UFC, or whatever else, those slight changes between yearly releases can make a big enough difference to justify the cost.

Also, I think it's worth considering sports games are different than a typical "story mode" game because you can't beat or finish the game. I play FIFA from September to September, and then once the new one comes out I buy that. 12 months worth of game time is more than worth the price tag imo.

If gaming is a sport wouldn't that make all games sport games?

Bioshock 1 Remastered

Got both Bioshock 1 and 2 Remastered for free because I already owned the originals. People have been complaining about technical issues with this, and so far, I've not seen anything to complain about. The remasters look amazing, and I'm looking forward to playing through both of these again. I've already beat Bioshock: Infinite, so I don't really have any plans to go back to that one, but I'm excited to play Bioshock 1 and 2 again.

of course I meant the ccg, not the mmo - somehow I keep confusing the names, even though I play one and don't play the other.
I can recommend Elder Scrolls: Legends.

It happens. My brain went straight to the ES Online and I missed the ccg part. It was surprising since I've heard ESO is pretty much unanimously thought of as crap.

Wife and girlfriends.

Not the first wife, either.

Speaking of the sports games, I'm a big sports fan--MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, MLS plus other things here and there--but I've yet to play a sports video game that did much for me.
